Here is my soup bowl that I'm working on and it is coming along rally well.
I do like it so fair and the way I make is with one big pattern that is 7 1/2 but I turned it into small squares to make my soup bowl.

It really works when you don't want to make another pattern to make it you alway can improvise with the things that you have in your classroom.
